Sightings

There are lots of marine mammal species and megafauna species visiting and inhabiting the Clyde  but we still know little about their distribution, abundance, habitats or interactions with humans and other animals . Every sighting you report adds valuable information  with our understanding of marine biology in the Clyde.

Your can REPORT A SIGHTING ONLINE here.

Please contact us if you would like to know about The Clyde Marine Mammal Project or become  part of our Clyde Community Sightings Network. We are curerrently developing an outreach program for 2016 and a Clyde wide survey.

We work in collaboration we share our sightings data  with the Hebridean Whale & Dolphin Trust which is then collated to the National Sightings Database held by the Sea Watch Foundation.
